Morning I was asked to make a 40th birthday card for my friends daughter and this is my offering. Hope you like it even though the photo's aren't great. My base card was from stock and I used Kanban Floral Tapistry - white lilies - which was my great for my theme and I mounted this onto gold mirry. I added gold & off white ribbon tied into a bow and twisted the ends to give a different finish. The text frame I chose from My Craft Studio's Finest filigree, added my text and printed off on my laser printer so that I could use my sparkly gold hot foil on it. Added a few butterfly stickers to finish it off. I wanted this card to be different and something Kirstie would want to keep so decided to add a 4 page insert. 1st page - Watermarked with a background from MCS's Floriography cd and various info from the web to mark the year Kirstie was born. Pages 2 & 3 - Used an insert from Floriography cd again and verse from Crafty Ideas verse printer. Page 4 - to add a bit of humour I added a background and a joke picture from the Wine Buff cd and a gold frame from a digikit from Serif.
